Evie’s 3-4 year old gift guide

How the past year has flown! I have so much to blog about including the wedding, holidays and family life so I will start with one of the things that I get asked about the most, toddler gift ideas!

With Evie’s birthday being exactly 3 months before Christmas, we generally do a lot of thinking about what to buy for both occasions, which usually starts with me starting to buy and then sitting and separating it into two piles- Birthday and Christmas.

I thought I would write another gift blog as the last one was so popular. I have split it up into price categories from low to high and included the items that Evie has loved the most!

This book was a present for Evie from one of my best friends and it is hilarious! She absolutely adores it and is now always asking for the wonky donkey song on Alexa. We love getting Evie books and this particular one is a great way of making reading even more fun!

Baby Annabell

This was one of Evie’s favourite gifts ever! Last year we got her a cheap doll that was very basic but at the time she loved it. As she has grown older she has started becoming aware of the adverts and has been obsessed with getting a ‘Baby Annabell’, she wanted a real doll that would cry real tears and suck a dummy and saw Annabell on the TV and decided this was the one she wanted. I think dolls are such a great tool for young children teaching them nurturing and role play.

Sylvanian families Town series

This new Sylvanian Families collection is absolutely beautiful! It has a very Parisien feel which will always be a firm favourite in our household as Paris holds so many special memories for us. When we saw the new Sylvanian Families collection we just had to get it, we got the ‘Elegant Town Manor’ and my parents got her the ‘Delicious Restaurant’ (both pictured) and she absolutely adores them. Evie loves smaller things to play with and all of the pieces that come with the houses are great, there’s everything from cutlery to furniture , even a little ornate chandelier!  Evie also got the ‘Ride along tram’ from this collection and some of the signage from the restaurant can attach to the tram making that into a cool little restaurant- The possibilities with the Sylvanian Families are endless and Evie spends hours playing with it. More of this will most definitely be on her Christmas list from Santa this year!

The ‘BillyOh’ playhouse

This has been something we have wanted to get Evie for a while as it is something that she will use for years to come. I always wanted one of these when I was a child so to get Evie one was a really nice feeling. Unfortunately, due to the terrible weather we have been unable to build it yet but we are so excited to see it built! We’ve even been and got some sage green paint to really make it our own! The one we ordered is the ‘Peardrop Extra’ which we chose with the picket fence and the bunk inside (pictured). I can’t wait to share photos of our actual playhouse once it’s in place as the quality of the house is amazing! Below, I have linked the website, there are so many different choices to suit different playhouse budgets!

The delivery and service from Garden Buildings Direct was fantastic and would highly recommend!
